<h3>This four-day Camp is <span style="color:rgb(192, 80, 77)">for students who are entering 9th - 10th grade</span> in the fall, who are ready to dive into the world of social justice and change making! This camp provides the foundational understanding for young people around leadership including useful vocabulary, inclusive communication skills, and a deeper understanding of what STAMP (Students Taking Action and Making Progress) is. Each day will be filled with games, learning from community members, and opportunities for students to discover more about themselves as leaders. Through this camp, Campers will learn the basics of being in an inclusive community, being thoughtful and communicative in intentional ways. </h3>

<p>*A perfect camp for young people wanting to get more involved with STAMP and become a high school leader for the Fall STAMP Conference! </p>
<p>Campers will, explore how communities around Denver have sparked change, build skills to actually make a difference, and make friends with peers that are also passionate about social justice. <br /></p>

<p>All campers &amp; staff are required to be COVID-19 vaccinated in order to participant. </p>

<p><strong>This Camp is <span style="color:rgb(192, 80, 77)">for high school students</span>, who want to become more involved in their community and make a bigger difference in the world. If you are someone who wants to deepen their own thinking in regard to, anti-racism, sparking change, and responding in effective ways then this camp is for you. Campers will meet with Denver community leaders ranging from government officials, community organizations, and local artists. Throughout the camp, campers will build community with each other through hands-on learning activities, art projects, fun games and team building. This camp is for those who want to dive into more of the social justice world in a hands-on way. </strong><br /> </p>
<p>Campers will meet with local Denver community leaders, build community with fellow campers through Mini-Golf, Art Projects, other fun activities, and strengthen their skills in public-speaking/civil engagement, through listening and problem-solving.<br /></p>

<h2>Ready to Take Your STAMP Journey into New Spaces? </h2>
<h2>STAMP On the Go -- STAMP &amp; Beyond Taos, New Mexico | June 6th - 13th|</h2>

<h3>This Camp is for <strong><span style="color:rgb(192, 80, 77)">SELECT students entering 11th grade to just graduated</span></strong> who want to reflect on their own leadership style and self. They will share and build upon on what they have learned through STAMP to feel prepared for their next chapter in life. During this camp we will escape the city to better connect and focus on self – self awareness, self love, and interpersonal communication. At CIRCLE we try to lean into the idea of self care, without taking care of self, how can we continue to take care of our communities? This camp is more of an opportunity for our committed STAMPers, and as a thank you and farewell. This program will support campers through transformational leadership opportunities while  affirming their understanding of identity and self, no matter what changes they face.</h3>

<h4>EXTRA EXTRA: This summer we are providing a near-peer camp trainee opportunity for select students attending On the Go. We are introducing our peer mentors and junior counselors. During STAMP Camp Rising, these select students will be supporting young STAMP leaders in their camp experience, and overall journey with STAMP. This opportunity will require both additional training in the Spring, along with the requirement that the student will attend both STAMP Camp On the Go and STAMP Rising. </h4>

<p>This unique experience will give you and your peers the opportunity to explore beyond the city of Denver, travel across the front range of our beautiful state of Colorful Colorado and into the "Land of Enchantment" of Northern New Mexico! <h4>The annual STAMP Conference is back! Tickets available for 8th &amp; 7th grade students attending middle schools around and near the Denver area. Middle school students will attend workshops throughout the day created and led by high school students around social justice-related topics. </h4>

<h4>Attendees will learn more about themselves and develop the tools needed to build more responsive communities at their individual schools. This experience will connect BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, and active white ally students together, in inclusive, open spaces to authentically share, discuss, and explore important topics that directly impact them. </h4>

<h2>CHECK OUT OUR SPEAKERS - </h2>
<p><strong>Dr. Ramona Beltrán (she/her/hers/ella | Yaqui/Mexica)</strong>,<a rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" href="https://socialwork.du.edu/about/gssw-directory/ramona-beltran"> Associate Professor at the University of Denver</a>. Dr. Beltrán, MSW, PhD is a Xicana of Yaqui and Mexica descent and dancer/activist/scholar. As an Associate Professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, her scholarship is committed to interrupting legacies of historical trauma that affect Indigenous and Latinx communities with a commitment to addressing issues facing LGBTQ and Two Spirit communities. She focuses on disrupting the problem-focused approach to understanding Indigenous/Latinx health that dominates mainstream research. She does this through centering culture in knowledge production with and for Indigenous/Latinx communities.<strong><br /></strong></p>
<p><strong>Regina Jackson (she/her/hers),</strong> <a rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.race2dinner.com/">Co-Founder of Race To Dinner</a>. Regina was born in Chicago in 1950 Regina remembers an America where everything was in Black and white. Burned into her memory are; the beatings and horrific treatment of civil rights workers throughout the south, the Goodman, Chaney &amp; Schwerner murders, the murder of Viola Liuzzo, the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the murders of President John Kennedy and his brother Robert. The violence perpetrated on innocent people going about their lives, by white people. It is these memories that drive Regina to push for real change in America. Which is why she co-founded Race 2 Dinner.</p>
<p><strong>Norma Johnson (she/her/hers)</strong>,<a rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" href="https://allinspirit.com/about/"> Founder of All in Spirit</a>. Norma is a spiritual healer, speaker, writer-poet-playwright, performance artist and facilitator that brings a creative background into her distinctive presentation form of social justice education and activism. Norma collaborates with a dynamic range of organizations, institutions, faith communities, arts, civic groups, and educational forums such as the highly regarded Annual White Privilege Conference. Her deeply moving poems are featured in racial justice courses taught by educators across the country. Abuelita's Tiendita (vendor)</strong>, came to life thanks to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Co-founder and namesake, Abuelita, was worried about losing her housekeeping job during the pandemic. So she started a side hustle of selling face masks, bought from Mexico, at an emerging outdoor market. During that time, Abuelita realized lots of artisans in Mexico were struggling due to the lack of tourism and they were unable to sell their handmade goods which helped support their livelihood. At this point, Abuelita had already recruited a couple of family members to help her with her outdoor market stand. That’s when we came up with the idea of importing Artisan handmade goods so we could help the artisans stay in business during this tough time and also to share our Mexican culture through their folk art.

<p>This camp is for youth who want to (and probably already are) make a bigger difference in the world. For young people who want to deepen their own understanding and commitment to anti-racism and create a space that supports everyone to spark change in inclusive, responsive ways. </p>
<p>Campers will meet with local Denver community leaders, build community with fellow campers through rock climbing, art projects, and other fun activities, and strengthen their skills in public-speaking, listening and problem-solving.<br /></p>

This camp provides foundational understanding and language for young people who are ready to take action &amp; make progress in inclusive, intentional ways. A perfect camp for young people wanting to get more involved with STAMP and be a high school leader for the Fall STAMP Conference! </p><p>Campers will visit the historic Lincoln Hills, explore how communities around Denver have sparked change, build skills to actually make a difference, and make friends with peers passionate about social justice. <br /></p>

      experience of self-transcendence in world contemplative and Indigenous traditions in the way it enhances prosocial
      behavior. She emphasizes the reclamation, revitalization, and transmission of Indigenous wisdom and the
      advancement of Indigenous and planetary rights.

We will explore actionable steps white folx can take to 'walk the talk', be genuine allies in racial equity, and do their part to make the world a better place. <h3><strong>STAMP stands for Students Taking Action and Making Progress. </strong></h3>
<p>The STAMP Conference is a CIRCLE program created and led by high school students for 7th &amp; 8th grade middle school students to begin discussing social justice-related issues they see and experience in their daily lives. This conference is a great entry point for students to learn more about themselves and develop the tools needed to build more inclusive, responsive communities at their individual schools.</p>
<p>Our STAMP high school student leaders have been working hard to develop their workshops for your students and are eager to share. This year the STAMP workshops topics will explore issues related to racism, spirituality, classism, gender &amp; sexuality, art-ivism, and health. This experience will connect diverse students together, in inclusive, open spaces to authentically share, discuss, and explore important topics that directly impact them. </p>

STAMP Camp provides opportunities for the exploration of personal leadership styles and identities, youth/adult partnerships, and action-planning skill building to make meaningful change.

Our camps are for young people interested in growing their leadership skills and building community through hands-on activities in Denver and the greater community. Campers will develop lasting friendships with peers passionate about similar issues and learn from local community leaders & organizations fighting for justice. They’ll leave with their own unique ‘toolkit’ they can use to further equity across their own communities.
