Brief Bio:    Katie Scolari Borden is a compassionate global citizen, driven by social justice and healing. A consultant with more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in international development, collective impact and educational equity, she loves communication, partnering, fundraising and asset-based development. As a Mom, breast-cancer survivor, and nature lover, she enjoys a great book, connecting with friends, and traveling anywhere and anytime. She loves to learn, explore and constantly strives to be a better mom, daughter, wife, friend and human being.

Why CIRCLE:    I believe so strongly in this mission. Supporting students and educators on their social justice journey has the potential to transform people, institutions and systems. Each person touched by the CIRCLE Organization and the STAMP program can come away a greater advocate and warrior for justice in their communities. We can heal rather than divide when we grow in our awareness and compassion together.
