CIRCLE STAMP 2012 was such a resounding success that we’re giving the youth conference its own day in 2013: Friday, Nov 1!
STAMP stands for Students Taking Action and Making Progress, a name that was chosen by our high school steering committee.
Geared toward middle-school-aged youth, the conference will take place the day before our 5th annual CIRCLE Conference for educators. Featuring youth-oriented workshops led by youth from our high school steering committee, the conference will empower young people with tools for building more inclusive communities as they head back to their home schools.
In addition to providing a leadership and inclusiveness opportunity for middle school students, the high school leaders who plan the conference receive leadership and facilitation training and are empowered to design and create every workshop for the conference.
STAMP Keynote: Jamie Utt
Jamie Utt is a diversity and inclusion consultant and former high school teacher based in Minneapolis, MN. He has worked with hundreds of schools around the country, empowering thousands of students, educators, and parents to take personal responsibility for building safer, more inclusive school environments.
